Mr. Williams brings his dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion to two prominent Washington, DC professional societies

Bethesda, MD, June 23, 2020 – GRF CPAs & Advisors (GRF), a full-service professional services firm providing clients with audit, tax, outsourced accounting and advisory solutions, announced today that audit partner Trevor W. Williams, CPA has been elected to the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) Board of Governors for the fiscal year beginning July 1. Mr. Williams was also recently re-appointed to the FAR Board of Directors for the 2020-2021 fiscal year and will assume the position of Treasurer.

Mr. Williams has worked in public accounting since 1996. He works with nonprofit and government contractor clients and has extensive experience with audit functions, contractual compliance rules, regulations, policies, procedures and accounting operations. As a partner, Mr. Williams is responsible for all aspects of client service and engagement administration as well as developing, mentoring and leading staff at all levels.

Mr. Williams is a graduate of Temple University with a BS in Accounting. He is a past board member and Treasurer of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement, and he has recently completed his first term as a board member of Finance and Administration Roundtable (FAR) in Washington, DC. At GRF, Mr. Williams is actively involved in recruiting and is the founding chairperson for the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion initiative. He lives in Bowie, MD with his two teenage sons.
