Ahkeeia V. Ward, CPA, EA ​

Biography

Before coming to GRF CPAs & Advisors, Ahkeeia worked in the private industry for a property and casualty insurance company and led a team of analysts and accounts payable clerks. She has over 7 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis and accounting. She also has experience as an Outsourced Accounting Manager with responsibilities to include, review of monthly close activity, management and preparation of financial statements, analysis of financial statement variances, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial projections, cash management, compliance, and budgeting.  ​

She works with client executives to both prepare and present financial information to board and committee members, and she assists tax-exempt organizations with their audit and tax preparation.​

Ahkeeia received her BS in Service Management from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her MBA in Finance as well as her MS in Accounting from Strayer University. She is an actively licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
