Biography

Ms. Evans is an experienced tax professional with over 15 years of expertise across various industries, including telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, and technology. At GRF, she provides tax compliance and consulting services to a variety of clients.

Prior to joining GRF, she served as a tax director for her own consulting firm, where she delivered specialized tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse range of clients, from start-ups to multinational corporations. She has also served in senior leadership roles at several major public accounting firms, where she managed tax projects for Fortune 500 firms in the SaaS, financial, and manufacturing sectors. Her work included federal, state, and international tax compliance, ASC 740 provision reviews, and leading teams on large-scale tax projects. She previously held senior roles in the tax departments of multimillion dollar technology companies as well, like MircroStrategy and Intelsat. During her tenure, she led international tax planning, SEC compliance efforts, and managed global tax requirements. Notably, her tax audits and strategic planning have resulted in substantial savings, including a $100,000 annual reduction in sales tax discrepancies.

Technologically savvy, she has experience in tax software selection and implementation. She is proficient in many applications, including Go Systems, CorpTax, CCH, RIA, and Checkpoint. A lifelong traveler, she speaks conversational Dutch and Spanish.
