Tom Myers, CPA, CGMA

Biography

Mr. Myers is a seasoned audit and assurance partner who specializes in working with government contractors. He is a subject matter expert in business combination transactions, complex equity structures including private equity backed investments, stock options, inventory/manufacturing, ASC 842 leases, and ASC 606 revenue recognition. He provides audit, review, compilation and consulting services to government contractors with revenue of up to $500M in areas including rotary aviation, ship systems development and installation, physical security, janitorial, cybersecurity, information systems and technologies, health IT and consulting, strategic consulting and others to defense and civilian agencies of the Federal government as well as allied foreign nation-states and domestic state and local governments.

As an assurance partner, Mr. Myers is responsible for all aspects of client service, including serving as the primary point of contact for the relationship and managing assurance engagements. Throughout his career, he has prepared and conducted training in areas including ASC 842 Leases, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, business combination accounting, software and technology, and others. As a firm leader, Mr. Myers participates in developing and mentoring staff at all levels.
